Kyle Biederwolf joined Comcast as an External Affairs Manager in August. He focuses on Community Impact work in New Mexico and Arizona, as well as external communications. We sat down with Kyle to learn a bit more about him.
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
My name is Kyle Biederwolf, I was born and raised in Albuquerque and I am a huge advocate for this community. I attended The University of New Mexico on a Presidential Scholarship and graduated with honors from the Anderson School of Management with a degree in Marketing Management. Upon graduation, I worked in advertisement sales for the KRQE Media Group until finding my way back to the Anderson School in March of 2018 to work in their Alumni Relations Office. Throughout all my post-grad career, I have been pursuing a master’s degree in Public Administration from UNM. I’ll graduate in December.
Why are you excited to work for Comcast?
Because of the amazing work that this company does right here in New Mexico. From connecting over 180,000 New Mexicans to our Internet Essentials program to financially supporting organizations that are helping bridge the digital divide to volunteering countless hours across our community; I am thrilled to have a role that allows me to be involved in New Mexico’s future.
What do you like to do outside of work?
In my free time, I volunteer on the Board of Directors for Cuidando Los Ninos, a nonprofit catering to the specific needs of families experiencing homelessness. I also serve on the Board of Directors of the Young Professionals of Albuquerque and as a Mentor with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Central New Mexico. When I am not volunteering, I love hanging out with friends and family, playing sand volleyball, running, and binge watching Breaking Bad, The Office, and Game of Thrones.
Red or green?
Sometimes green, sometimes red, so just give me X-Mas and I’ll be happy!
