Comcast Introduces Comcast RISE Program

Comcast has committed to a multiyear plan to fight injustice and inequality. As part of this commitment, we’re allocating substantial resources to help Black-owned small businesses in New Mexico through our new Comcast RISE program. Comcast RISE stands for Representation, Investment, Strength and Empowerment. The program will start in 2020 with an initial focus on Black-owned businesses. The next submission cycle will open up eligibility to all BIPOC business owners, those next hit hardest by the effects of the pandemic.

Comcast is putting action behind their words by introducing their new Comcast RISE program. This program will give opportunities and resources to Black-owned small business in New Mexico, which were impacted by the pandemic at much higher rates than other businesses. I am excited to see how this program grows in the future.” – Theresa Carson, President/CEO, African American Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce
